Hi,
I had sent an e-mail to my attorney...below is his reply...looks like i will get my renewed EAD before current EAD expires.
USCIS typically issues new EADs within 90 days. If they don't, you may make an Infopass appointment to appear in-person at a local office to request that they process an interim EAD. The local office will not issue an EAD. Rather, they will contact the Service Center which will typically issue the EAD within two weeks.
If you are working on EAD and if you do not get your new ead 10 days prior to the expiry of the old one please take an infopass and they will email the IO working on it to approve. Couple of my friends did that and got their approvals in a day or two.

One of my buddies got his GC approved yesterday and his Priority Date is June 2005, EB2 India. I am here waiting since 2004 March to file for my I485. There are no methods to USCIS Madness.

If there is going to be any more discussion on if IV should push for 485 or not push, moderators will close the threads. There has been enough discussion and arguements in the past over this and members are more than willing to give hundreds of ideas and opinions for free but only a few actually care to implement them or help IV with a mere $20. If you want to discuss it, go to other forums and discuss it and be an armchair strategist.
If you have ideas and want to implement them, join your local chapter and get active. Contribute in the funding drive so that IV can continue to be a platform for everyone in ths struggle.

Unfortunately, there are no good solutions to this problem. Humanitarian Parole is possible, but not likely except in extreme cases such as where there is a serious or life threatening illness. Not understanding why can't any Democratic Pro-immigrant Senator reply to these kind of ignorant blaberrings and order USCIS to act as per LAW? How this grassley gets USCIS internal draft memo! need to inverstigate.
I have been saying this over and over, Dems are pro-immigration but they are not pro-legal immigration, just because grassley is anti-immigration does not make the whole republican party is against immigration, get the facts right, aint schumer the one who introduced this special fees on h1-b to put republicans in defense, few senators like mccain (R-AZ) spoke against the provision, bush pushed congress to increase the h1b quota and tried to pass CIR twice, isnt clinton the one who let illegals file AOS in EB3 which is why EB3 is stuck in 2001?

Need a little advice. We (my husband and I) filed our 485 on July 2 under EB-3and have received AP, EAD, FP etc. Our PD date (July 7, 2001) got current in the March bulletin:). I wanted to check if there is way to find out if our cases have been adjudicated and are ready for approval as and when a visa # is allocated in March.

You guys deserve it after waiting for so long. The only way to check if the case has been adjudicated or not is to keep checking the LUDS, if it changes see what the status says. After being patient for so many years, if you are feeling a little impatient now call USCIS and check the status.

Are the locations of your employer and client in the same city, otherwise the LCA submitted at the time of H1B extension becomes inconsistent. I believe your best bet is to file a new H1 if possible, MTR likely looks difficult as your current situation is different from what was petitioned. New H1 being approved may also depend on how big your company is internal project to them for consulting companies to them is synonymous with bench. All the best I believe you need a qualified attorney to assist you.

An event in DC would be convinient for members who live or work in and around the DC area, and also because the concentration of working people in the city and vicinity is higher. People who work in the area can stop by after work and network over dinner.

Call your lawyer and get your ETA number. The 45 day letter has your ETA number.
Tell him that you would like that number to track your case using the new BEC online case status search.
Normally he should give you that number, since it is nothing harmful for him and your company.

I received word from my company that my 45 day letter had come in .. this is March 2005. Its more than a year and now they just seem to keep quite. If I persist they say the lawyer has not come up with anything yet.

Now with all the talk about September 2007 the finish date for the BEC where do we stand. My lawyer is quiet, my employer is quite and my 6 years are getting close to complete in January 2007.
