Hi,
Please advice me on below:-
1)I am on H1b visa and currently i am on bench. My 140 is approved and my H1b is expiring on sep30 ,2009. I got rfe for h1b extension asking for client letter.
Should i convert to h4 or do h1b transfer if i could be able to get someone to transfer it.
2) Also if I go to h4 visa will my green card processing with priority date remain same if i go back to same employer and ask them to file my h1b again after i get a project. Or they again have to start the process again even with same employer. Also what if i go with different employer.
3. If I apply for H4 visa now and in mean time i get a project before sep 30 2009, then what do I need to do. can i just ask my employer to again file h1b extension.
4) SO if I do h1b transfer or go on h4 what are the pros and cons.
Please let me know ASAP.
Thanks in advance.

1. After importing Photoshop file in to Blend, right click on any PSD layer that you want to convert it in control. Then choose MAKE IT CONTROL and you can select any style like button etc that you want.
2. Select the control,in properties panel click on event icon then choose event that you want and double click in it ,then you can write the code for that EVENT in Visual Studio.
Hope it will help.

Suggestions, anyone?
We contacted the USCIS and they are not willing to disclose any information about the notice. They simply say they will resend it. That might take a long time.

Dear fellow members,
Wish you all a happy and cheerful new year 2009. Wish that both EB2 and EB3 become current in this new year, and bring much sought peace of mind to everyone. May legal immigration becomes one of the top priority for Obama administration. :)

The Simpsons' writers have taken on the subject of immigration before, but last night's episode "Coming to Homerica" was entirely devoted to the subject and is absolutely hysterical. When the neighboring Norweigian dominated town of Ogdenville's economy collapses after supplying Krusty the clown with tainted barley for his new veggie burger, the town's citizens start moving to Springield looking for work. The new immigrants take up day labor jobs doing all the jobs Springfield residents won't do. But when too many of the newcomers arrive, Springfield xenophobes get nervous. The town decides that the newcomers are stealing jobs, bringing disease,...

The folks at the Immigrant Legal Resource Center have come up with a list of recommendations for legislators as they craft a legalization plan in the upcoming comprehensive immigration reform debate: 1. Date of entry requirement for eligibility: The required date of entry should be as close to the date of introduction of the bills as possible. This will accomplish the goal of legalizing as many otherwise deserving immigrants as possible as well as simplifying the administration of the program by CIS. [Simple and Broad Eligibility Provisions] 2. No known to the government requirement: The legalization program should not include...

Hi. I am a Canadian Citizen that was offered a Management job in US.
I would appreciate any advice in regards the best way to ensure a LONG stay in US. The company wants to start with a TN.
Strategy #1:
To stay under TN and keep it renew it for a long term . 10-20 years. The risk is that the guys at the border will say no at some point; however I wonder if I can request an appeal since there is no limit per TN rules.
( are there any cases that have stayed that long?)
Strategy #2:
Start with a TN then file an H1b and wait for the Labor of certification to be approved. If I do not hear anything in 1 or 2 years; change to TN to revise the strategy. in order to avoid consuming the H1b 6 years lead time allowed and try again later.

Hi,
I hold a H1B Visa from Company A, which is valid until Sep 2010. I have not used this Visa since the stamping is done.
I am working in India from an X Company and because of the recession and bad job market at US, I did not make use of my H1B Visa.
But now my Employer (Company A) has an in-house project in US. So, I am planning to enter US on my H1B Visa now.
1) What documentation is required to show at the Port of Entry?
2) Since my Visa is going to expire by Sept 2010, which is just 6 months validity, will there be any issues / queries at the Port of Entry.

Hi,
My visa expires in May 2009. I applied for OPT and starting date will be from June 1st 2009. I want to go to India in the last quarter of 2009. How do I get a valid visa. Should I get a new F1 Visa? Please help me..
OPT is a part of F1, it is not a new status. Technically you can get a VISA stamp for your F1 during OPT, and many do get, but you need to prove "no intent to immigrate" during your VISA interview and that's harder to do when you are on OPT and working for some company.

A reader sent me a link to a post at the The Future of Capitalism blog reminding folks that being pro-immigration fits right in to a conservative agenda: David Cameron, the British "Conservative" Party leader who favors a top income tax rate of 50%, also wants immigration restrictions that would limit Great Britain's population over the next 20 years to 70 million. The Financial Times has an editorial with some reasons this is a bad idea. Here in America, the restrictionist Federation for American Immigration Reform is a bronze sponsor of next month's National Tea Party Convention. Here at FutureOfCapitalism.com,...
