I just got my H1 visa. As my understanding that they will stamp my passport at the port of entry, I wonder if they will keep my current I-797 at the port of entry (I already have the H1 stamp in my passport). Pls advise. Also, I don�t have the bottom portion of the I-94 on I-797 since I am currently in Malaysia . Would this be a problem? Please also advise if they will issue me the new I-94 at the port of entry. Anybody pls help. Thank you very much.

I want to transfer my H1-b from a consultant company to a non-profilt organization which is offering me a full time job. I haven't resigned my job at consultant company yet. The LCA process is going on with new non-profilt organisation and then they are going to apply for H-1B petition soon. I am worried if the consultant company will cancel my visa as soon as I resign and that would cause issues for the H-1b transfer. Please advice when is it safe time to resign and start my new job.

I got my EAD last October (filed for my I-485 on July 02, '07) but did not apply for my AP then;
Now I need to apply for my EAD renewal and am also thinking of getting an AP. Do I need to get an AP for the current year (that is for the time period from Oct '07 to Oc 08) and then apply for AP extension or can I directly apply for AP for Oct '08 to Oct '09?
the second option will save me money and so for me that is the preferred one :D
any information on this is much appreciated,

I had FP done way back in October 07..but there is no status change LUD on I-485..what to do??.:confused:..Do I take an appointment to talk to an officer or simply call USCIS ..

Illegal non-immigrants did the rally to local USCIS offices. It would be good if we pick one day in 2nd week of July and have a rally to local USCIS offices. This will immediately catch the media attention.

I'm sure the lawyers have already told you that this is not possible. The company cannot refile PERM now because all the ads, posting, etc are too old. They would have to start again.

I was working with company A and got approved I140(1 year back) after that I moved to company B using approved I140 and got 3 yrs H1B extension.After that during July,07 period I requested company A to apply EAD and i485(Company A mentioned as future employment).Now I am still with company B.
But now Company A asking me to come back.Since I have everything approved (i140) except i485(pending) do I need to go back to company A?
If I do not go to company A,can he cancel approved I140 ?
Need help/suggestion .

Hi,
I'm in the process of going through the naturalization process having filed the N-400 form.
However, I have a change of plans and would like to 'abandon' my naturalization application.
Would this affect any of my future applications? be it a future naturalization application or petition for a relative the green card.
Thanks for any advice as I can't seem to get a definite answer.

Hi, as i am only a rookie at multimedia like flash - photoshop etc i am willing to do small work for people who need it - justas long as the job isnt too hard for me - i am getting better and better each day at flash and photoshop.
i hope to improve alot more.
i am not all that good at flash actionscript yet though so please dont ask for anything to hard in flash, but i am reading a book i brought on flash and hopefullysoon i will b more expericaned at it.
